Cortaron el árbol, pero no las raíces
They cut down the tree, but not the roots

This poster is inspired by the lyrics in El Dorado album and the colonial history of the land known as Australia and Latin American countries. Nature being the treasure colonisers could not steal, strong, deep roots flourishing into new stems.

The title font is Tequendama by Colombian designer John Vargas Beltrán. Inspired in Pre-Columbian Art.
Red, Black and Gold as a reference to the Australian Aboriginal Flag.
Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
I spent a lot of time to explore different solutions, here are some of my favourites. Hopefully one day these can come to life.
I specially loved this idea of depicting animals from the land known as Australia as Pre-Columbian gold figures. An A2 modular and playful poster made of individual postcards which could be arranged in many different combinations.
